Entry Day
Entry Day- All events except Pet Show. You are entitled to enter 2 items per premium number unless indicated otherwise. Bring all animals in Monday, September 29th, 2025 by 6:00 pm. Any entry brought after 6:00 p.m. will be declined. There is no tagging cages allowed. Tags saving a cage will be removed. Cut flowers and baked goods should be entered on Monday and brought in before 9:00 am on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025.
8:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.- Emma Claire Gill Scholarship Fundraiser (BBQ Chicken)
9:00 am-6:00 pm- Enter exhibits-Exhibit Building
5:00 pm- Commercial building inside and outside Exhibits open
5:30 pm- Rabbit premier exhibitor test in cattle barn
6:00 pm- MIDWAY Rides open-Midway Rides -Pay one price- Price set by carnival company
6:00 pm- Rabbit show in Cattle Barn (This is a hands-on show and exhibitors must be on hand to show their animals)
Day 2
7:00 a.m. Poultry Check-in and Testing
9:00 a.m.- Ag Awareness
9:00 a.m.- All Poultry/Broilers must be in pens.
9:00a.m. - Poultry Premier Exhibitor Exam in the Livestock Barn
9:30am- Poultry/Broilers Judging in poultry area of cattle barn (This is a hands on show and exhibitors must be present.)
5:00 pm to close- Commercial building, exhibit buildings, inside and outside events open.
5:30 pm- Premier exhibition exam for sheep and goats in beef barn.
6:00 pm- MIDWAY Rides open-Pay one price- Price set by carnival company
6:00 pm- Goat and Sheep show in Livestock Show Arena
7:00 pm- Beef and Dairy weight cards due
7:00pm-9:00pm Crop Judging
Day 3
7:00 am- 9:00 a.m.- Cut flowers & Baked goods must be brought in by 9:00 am. (Must be entered on books on Monday, September 29th, 2025).
9:00 a.m. - Ag Awareness
9:00 am-3:00 pm- Judging of other exhibits (clothing, canned goods, handicrafts, baked goods)
5:00 pm- Pet Show at Amphitheatre (school age children and under, do not have to pre-register.) Section III, Div. VI
5:00 pm-close- Commercial Building, Exhibit Building, and inside and outside events open
5:30 pm- Premier Exhibition exam for Dairy and Beef
6:00 pm- Close- MIDWAY Rides open-Pay one price- Price set by carnival company
6:00 pm- Beef and Dairy show in cattle barn
7:00 pm- Swine Weight cards due
7:00 pm- Entertainment
Day 4
9:00 a.m.- Ag Awareness
5:00 pm- Close- Commercial building, Exhibit Building, and inside and outside events open
5:30 pm- Premier Exhibitor exam for Swine in Sheep and Livestock arena.
6:00 pm- Swine show- Sheep and Livestock arena
6:00 pm- Close- MIDWAY Rides open-Pay one price- Price set by carnival company
Day 5
9:00 am- Release of livestock exhibits. Must be picked up Friday by fair gate closing.
5:00 pm- Close- Commercial building, Exhibit building, and inside and outside events open
6:00 pm- Close- MIDWAY Rides open-Pay one price- Price set by carnival company
Last Day
9:00 am- 12 p.m. Release of all other exhibits
9:00 am-12:00 pm- Checks at Exhibit Building- Please be present or arrange for someone to pick up your prize money and exhibits by noon. Any checks and exhibits not picked up will be available at the LSU EXTENSION OFFICE (119 W. Main Street, Suite 4, Winnfield, La. 71483) until October 10, 2025. Checks not picked up by this time will be voided and prize money will be forfeited. The fair association will not be responsible for any exhibits left after 12 noon, October 4th, 2025. Any exhibits not picked up by October 10, 2025 will become the property of the Winn Parish Fair Association. Removing animals or other exhibits early without special permission may void any prize money. All checks must be cashed or deposited within one month upon receipt.
